Description of the concentration
1.1. Le 31 mai 2007, la Commission a reÁu notification díun projet de concentration, conformément ‡ líarticle 4 du RËglement Concentration, par lequel le groupe Accor et le groupe Pierre & Vacances acquiËrent le contrÙle conjoint de la sociÈtÈ NewCity, entreprise commune de plein exercice au sens du RËglement Concentration dont líobjet sera la gestion de rÈsidences urbaines destinÈes ‡ des clientËles díaffaires et de loisirs.
2.2. Les activitÈs des entreprises concernÈes sont les suivantes :
-- pour ACCOR : sociÈtÈ active dans líhÙtellerie et dans la conception et la fourniture de services aux entreprises et aux collectivitÈs, notamment ‡ travers líÈmission de titres de services ;
-- pour Pierre & Vacances : sociÈtÈ active dans la promotion-construction et la commercialisation de rÈsidences de tourisme, la location de meublÈs vacances, et dans la gestion de rÈsidences de loisirs et urbaines.
