SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
The notified concentration concerns the combination of TotalEnergies and Air Liquide's respective expertise in infrastructure, hydrogen distribution and mobility in a joint venture that will be 50/50 owned and jointly controlled by the two parties.
The Joint Venture will invest in, build and operate a network of hydrogen stations, geared towards heavy duty vehicles on major strategic roads corridors mainly in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany.
Air Liquide is a multinational producer of gases and offers gases, technologies and related services for different industries and the health care sector.
TotalEnergies is a global multi-energy company that produces and markets energies: oil and biofuels, natural gas and green gases, renewables, electricity.
