SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
(1) This notification relates to the proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation 139/2004 between Mylan and Upjohn.
(2) The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:
• Mylan develops, licenses, manufactures, markets and distributes generic, branded generic and specialty pharmaceuticals in addition to OTC and consumer healthcare products.
• Upjohn manufactures, markets and distributes off-patent branded and generic established pharmaceuticals.
