SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
The Commission has received a notification of a proposed acquisition pursuant to Article 4 of the EC Merger Regulation pursuant to which C1000 B.V. ("C1000") will acquire sole control over one supermarket in the Netherlands, which currently operates under the Super de Boer formula (the "SdB Supermarket") from Jumbo Groep Holding B.V. in the Netherlands.
The business activities of the Parties are as follows:
• C1000: procurement, wholesale and retail of daily consumer goods and related services in the Netherlands.
• SdB Supermarket: retail of daily consumer goods.
