Description of the concentration
This notification concerns the following undertakings:
The TURNER Corporation, USA ("TURNER"), ultimately controlled by Actividades de Construcción y Servicios, Spain ("ACS"); and
Dornan Engineering Holdings Limited, Ireland ("Dornan"), controlled by individuals.
TURNER acquires, within the meaning of Article 3(1), point (b) of the Merger Regulation sole control of the whole of Dornan.
The concentration is accomplished by way of purchase of shares.
The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:
a) for TURNER/ACS: Construction services globally and to all types of clients and industries.
b) for Dornan: Mechanical and electrical engineering services, in particular in the areas data centers and life science facilities, in Europe, primarily in Ireland, the Netherlands and Denmark as well as in other EU countries, the UK and Switzerland.
