Description of the concentration
The Transaction concerns the creation of a greenfield full function joint venture by Sony Group Corporation and Honda Motor Co., Ltd. to design, develop, produce, market, and sell high value-added battery electric vehicles. Sony and Honda will jointly own and control the joint venture, which will operate as an autonomous, full function entity within the meaning of the EUMR.
