Description of the concentration
By virtue of the notified concentration, EQT Infrastructure III (controlled by EQT Fund Management S.à.r.l) intends to acquire joint control, together with current owner GEH GmbH, over Getec by way of a share purchase.
The investment fund EQT Infrastructure III is currently fundraising with expected final close in February 2017. The fund seeks to make investments in infrastructure and infrastructure-related assets and businesses in Northern Europe, Continental Europe and North America. EQT Infrastructure III is part of the EQT group of private equity funds.
Getec is a company specialised in energy contracting in Germany.
