Description of the concentration
1.1. The notification relates to the acquisition of sole control by Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Watson") of Actavis Pharma Holding 4 ehf., Actavis S.à r.l. and Actavis Inc. (together "Actavis"), which directly or indirectly own the companies comprising the Actavis group.
2.2. Watson is a US-based global pharmaceutical company engaged in the development, manufacturing, marketing, sale and distribution of generic, brand and biologic pharmaceutical products.
3.3. Actavis is a Swiss headquartered pharmaceutical group, specializing in the development, manufacture and sale of generic pharmaceuticals.
