Description of the concentration
On 16.01.2018, the European Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of the Regulation (EC) 139/2004 by which The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. and Riverstone Investment Group, LLC will acquire joint control of Lucid Energy Group II, LLC.
The main business activities of the undertakings concerned are:
• The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.: U.S. investment banking and investment management firm
• Riverstone Investment Group, LLC: U.S. private equity firm
• Lucid Energy Group II, LLC: provider of natural gas processing and natural gas gathering in portions of New Mexico and Texas, United States.
