Description of the concentration
The proposed transaction concerns the acquisition by WorxInvest NV of 27.81% of the shares in Gimv NV. As a result of the proposed transaction, WorxInvest will obtain sole control over Gimv in accordance with the meaning of Article 3(1), point (b) of the EUMR.
The primary business activities of the undertakings concerned by the notified concentration are as follows:
• WorxInvest: an investment company investing in private equity funds and small- and medium-sized companies, money market instruments and real estate.
• Gimv: a private equity firm, headquartered in Belgium and publicly listed on Euronext Brussels, with a focus on direct investments into companies headquartered in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
