Description of the concentration

On 6 August 2021, the Commission has received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of the Merger Regulation by which AEA intends to acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation sole control of Polygon by way of purchase of shares. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

-For AEA: private equity firm with investments in a variety of sectors, in particular value-added industrial products, specialty chemicals, consumer/retail and services.

-For Polygon: provider of property damage restoration services and temporary climate solutions.
